Love on the Brain – 2022

Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

Love on the Brain was Ali Hazelwood’s follow up to The Love Hypothesis. It’s not a sequel or anything, but it does have the same science-y vibes that we loved from the last book. This one is 368 pages long.

Love on the Brain is all about Bee Königswasser, a purple-haired genius of a physicist obsessed with Marie Curie. In fact, her motto is ‘What would Marie Curie do?’

So when NASA offers her to be the lead on a project, she asks her question. Of course, Marie Curie would say yes! Unfortunately, Marie Curie never had to deal with Levi Ward, her archenemy from grad school, and her new co-lead.

Even though Levi is tall, dark, and handsome, and he saves her on her first day of the job, she just knows this is going to be a competition with her rival.

The project isn’t really going well for Bee. Her stuff is missing, no one is listening to her, and she doesn’t seem to be making any of the right decisions.

That’s when she notices that Adam is actually being nice to her. He’s backing up her ideas, helping her make decisions, and even stealing glances at her. She finds herself thinking about him more and more, and wants to put her heart on the line.

Now we are asking ourselves ‘What would Bee Königswasser do?’
